The Center cares for injured and orphaned wild birds. It offers this free service to the community. The government does not provide any monetary support. The Center’s work is primariiy funded from individuals. Donations are tax-deductible and most appreciated.

Brodhecker Farm Store in Newton, NJ, will donate a portion of the sale when customers present the coupon and purchase their sunflower seed.
The Center currently has a variety of stickers to put on windows to reduce window strikes by birds. Contact us for details on products and pricing.
Donate Needed Items
The following items are needed to help us care for the wild birds that are brought in injured to our rehabilitation center. Our goal is to return the birds healthy to the wild.
- Newspaper (please remove glossy sections, sales flyers)
- Paper Towels
- Facial tissues, toilet paper
- Grape vine (thicker sections better for bird perches)
- White Pine branches (freshly cut with green pine needles, NOT treated with any pesticides)
- Indoor/Outdoor new carpet remnants
- Hardware: nails, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers
- Bleach
Cleaning Tools
- Sponges, brushes, scouring pads, paint scrapers, buckets
- Work, garden and dishwashing gloves
Food (must be fresh)
- Produce: Grapes, blueberries, blackberries, organic carrots, apples…
- Wheat Germ
- Iams or Eukanuba Puppy or Kitten Kibble
Other items
- Feather duster (used with ducklings to give them a hiding place)
- Pet food bowls: plastic, metal or ceramic
- Gallon size freezer food baggies
- Bird books, working binoculars
Volunteers to help with emergency bird transport.
